Our Manipulatives
Manipulatives are a crucial learning tool which help students understand maths in a concrete (hands on) way before translating this to the abstract 'squiggles' (letters and numbers on a page). Research shows using a colour consistent manipulative, and representation, reduces cognitive load and develops confidence in maths.
