What does Maths Anxiety look like for homeschool parents?

Maths anxiety doesn't necessarily mean you're completely anxious, or unable to function.

It often goes undetected and is more subtle. It's that little voice in your head questioning whether you're doing it 'right', whether you actually know enough about maths yourself to be able to teach your kids. It's that 'sweaty palms' feeling that you're somehow going to 'stuff it up' for your kids.

Maths anxiety often stems from not feeling confident with maths yourself and/or not knowing what to teach or what order to teach it in.

Do you feel like planning for literacy is fairly straight-forward, but have no idea how to approach maths? This is really common!

This free email series will help you feel less anxious, overwhelmed and feeling like you're just winging it, and start creating a plan for your maths teaching where you're calm, confident and in control.

Each day you'll get information and a short (mostly 5-minutes max.) task to complete.

When you feel calm and in control and KNOW what you're teaching (and WHY you're teaching it), your kids will pick up on that and internalise it. 1 in 5 adults (and 35% of young people) suffer from some kind of maths anxiety. Let's help fix that trend.

It all starts with you!
