INTRODUCTION TO TEACHING
MULTISENSORY MATHS

TUESDAY AUGUST 25TH, 7-9PM

WODONGA TAFE

"This workshop is an introduction to teaching maths effectively.
It is perfect for intervention, learning difficulties and those supporting students to understand the foundations of mathematics"

Maths is  a sequential language. It requires foundational understanding before progressing through addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percents. Our tactile tools and simple training methods will enable you to gain a clear understanding of how to teach core mathematical concepts.

Research shows that students learn best using tactile, hands-on methods, where they can touch, feel & see the numbers; where they can recognise colours and shapes and convert that knowledge into the everyday use of numerical mathematical symbols on a page. Using these hands-on teaching methods are important for each student to understand so they can make progress and feel confident about maths.
