Fractions, Decimals & Percents
Held at The Athena School, Newtown
Join us for a full day of hands-on training on how to teach fractions, decimals and percents using simple and effective methods.
Step by step, we will explore how to introduce the concept of fractions and all the functions of fractions, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions and also explore the functions of decimals and percents, including conversions.
Using dynamic, hands-on Fraction Overlays and Algebra Decimal Inserts as the tactile hands-on tools, these concepts take on a new perspective that is much easier to understand for you and your students!
