Why Training Matters

Student success depends on a confident and well-trained teacher. A great program isn’t enough.

We’ve distilled 24+ years of research and classroom practice into signature training modules that show you not only what to teach, but how to teach it effectively.

Designed for teachers, tutors, intervention specialists, and parents, our training is especially effective for transforming outcomes for students with dyscalculia, learning differences, or maths anxiety.

Out training is:

  • Practical – step-by-step lessons you can use immediately.
  • Research-based – grounded in the RTI framework and our I-CRAVE Maths methodology.
  • Transformational – proven to boost outcomes for general students, as well as those with dyscalculia, learning differences, or maths anxiety.

Testimonials

The training I have received through Maths Australia and the Total Maths Mastery package has been invaluable! I wish I had this knowledge from 20+ years ago when I did teacher training.

Christa Forsyth, Specialist Intervention Teacher

By using the Maths Australia's explicit and multi-sensory methodology, even students with learning difficulties and disabilities have been able to understand and progress beyond our greatest expectations. The relief when students use the concrete materials and the ‘light bulb’ switches on is so rewarding as an educator.

Judi Sheedy, Director/ Educator, The Rural Tutor

Training really helped us to understand the 'why' in the way the program is taught and none of the teachers have strayed from it. We find that the very simple start to each new topic really helps the students to understand each topic and gain the foundations they need to solve problems in all Mathematical areas. Honestly, we think the program is perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

Leader in Numeracy, Primary

I’ve just completed ‘Foundations of Maths’ Online Training Course. I’m so excited about teaching maths as a language and using your CRA manipulatives! Finally, a pedagogy is explained and demonstrated that is systematic and that teachers can make sense of in mathematics – thank you!!

R Parella, Leader in Numeracy

Let's teach maths as the language that it is.
